There are literally hundreds of agencies who will sell you a new website. Ranging from global players to one-man-bands, agencies of all sizes compete to win digital projects. For most of these businesses, projects generate the largest slice of turnover and are the standard unit of sale: Agencies are good at selling projects. The difficulty for website owners occurs when the project is over because agencies are not usually good at selling support.
We might expect that, with a support agreement in place, that the same people who built the website would be the same people who support it. This is often not true. (more…)
